Practice Receptionist – Casual (Healthcare)

About the role

Join the busy reception team at Hollywood Private Hospital’s Ramsay Health Plus outpatient department. This casual position is ideal for parents or caregivers seeking flexible work‑life balance while supporting a multidisciplinary Allied Health Practice.

Key responsibilities

• Manage front‑desk operations for physiotherapy, occupational therapy, exercise physiology, speech pathology and dietetics services.
• Schedule appointments, contact patients, and handle billing inquiries.
• Perform day‑to‑day administrative duties, including telephone handling and record keeping.
• Provide leave‑cover and occasional shift support as needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a medical practice receptionist.
• Strong attention to detail and a customer‑service mindset.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy of patient information.
• Positive, self‑motivated attitude with excellent interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with patient management systems (e.g., Genie, Nookal).
• Computer literacy, including the Microsoft Office suite.
• Effective time‑management and problem‑solving abilities.
