Senior Buyer – Indirect Procurement

About the role

Yokogawa is seeking a Senior Buyer to manage its indirect procurement portfolio. You will act as the trusted partner ensuring that categories such as cleaning services, lease‑cars, facility management, office supplies and corporate contracts are controlled, compliant and cost‑efficient across multiple European locations.

Key responsibilities

• Own and optimise spend in indirect categories, driving cost savings and efficiency.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers while ensuring service quality and risk mitigation.
• Guarantee that contracts and processes comply with Yokogawa’s internal policies, legal frameworks and ethical standards.
• Support internal stakeholders in various countries, providing clear guidance and partnership.
• Collaborate with regional procurement, finance and global procurement teams to harmonise standards.
• Monitor KPIs, analyse spend data and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Professional experience in indirect procurement (e.g., cleaning, lease‑cars, facilities) – direct procurement experience also acceptable.
• Strong stakeholder‑management and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in a governance‑driven, policy‑aligned environment.
• Comfortable operating in an international, multi‑country setting.
• Fluent in English; additional Romanian or Dutch is a plus.
