Account Manager

About the role

Flexport is looking for an Account Manager in Amsterdam to help clients optimise their supply chains and realise the value of Flexport’s platform. You will act as a trusted advisor, ensuring a seamless experience and driving growth through upsell and cross‑sell opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Cultivate and expand relationships with key business stakeholders to deepen client engagement.
• Monitor account health, financial performance and payment schedules, reporting regularly.
• Identify, develop and close upsell, cross‑sell and renewal opportunities based on client needs.
• Lead client onboarding, define SOPs and guide implementation timelines.
• Collaborate with Global Operations to track metrics, address escalations and solve issues efficiently.
• Prepare and present quarterly strategy reviews, driving product adoption and value realization.
• Document and evolve client success criteria as needs change.
• Continuously expand supply‑chain knowledge through internal and external training.

Required profile

• Professional fluency in English and Dutch.
• 2–4 years of experience in sales, account management or a client‑facing role.
• Background in logistics, freight forwarding or supply‑chain preferred.
• Client‑centric mindset with a consultative approach to growth.
• Strong problem‑solving, attention to detail and business acumen.
• Proven track record of (cross)‑selling and managing renewals.
