Customer Support Engineer – Dutch Speaking

About the role

Huawei Europe is seeking a Dutch‑speaking Customer Support Engineer to join its Rijswijk team. You will be the first point of contact for customers, delivering 5‑day‑a‑week Level 1 technical support for smart energy products.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls, emails and remote diagnostics, providing timely assistance.
• Log cases, create service tickets and follow Huawei procedures.
• Deliver first‑line support for PV inverters, residential/commercial energy storage systems and related smart‑energy hardware.
• Troubleshoot installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance issues.
• Escalate complex cases to second‑level support or R&D and ensure follow‑up.
• Document cases, identify recurring problems and contribute to knowledge‑base articles.
• Assist with product acceptance testing, firmware updates and remote system configuration.
• Provide technical guidance to partners, installers and end‑users while ensuring safety compliance.

Required profile

• Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus.
• Strong phone handling and complaint management abilities.
• Customer‑service mindset with at least 1‑2 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Renewable Energy or a related field.
