Payroll Associate – Global Payroll Team

About the role

As a Payroll Associate you will join Cover Genius’s rapidly expanding Global Financial Operations team, reporting to the Associate Director, Global Payroll in Amsterdam. You will manage end‑to‑end payroll processes, ensure data integrity and support the transition from outsourced to in‑house payroll.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
• Collect, validate, process and reconcile payroll data, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
• Perform monthly NetSuite payroll‑related journal entries and reconcile payroll general ledgers.
• Collaborate with the People Team to maintain compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and implement process improvements, including automation and workflow streamlining.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities and audit requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in global outsourced or in‑house payroll.
• Experience working with payroll solutions and knowledge of global payroll principles and financial controls.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills to manage vendor and employee relationships.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
