Production Technician

About the role

Join Destinus as a Production Technician and take responsibility for the mechanical assembly of turbojet engines in a high‑precision aerospace environment. You will work hands‑on with critical engine components, supporting assembly, testing and continuous improvement on the production floor, directly impacting engine performance and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble components of turbojet engines following precise schematics and technical specifications.
• Perform pre‑assembly and assembly inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Document all assembly activities, including critical measurements, results, observations and improvement recommendations.
• Maintain safety regulations and guidelines throughout all assembly procedures.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance assembly efficiency and testing accuracy.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years hands‑on experience in assembly or testing of complex mechanical systems.
• MBO 3+ or equivalent qualification in rotational machinery, mechanics or related field.
• Strong planning, organization and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• Good Dutch and English communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift and handle heavy engine components safely.
