Senior Cloud Engineer - Product Metrics (EMEA Remote)

About the role

The Product Metrics team at ClickHouse builds and operates a petabyte‑scale platform that stores trillions of records and processes millions of events per second. As a Senior Cloud Engineer you will design, build, and maintain critical components of this system, ensuring high reliability, performance, and cost‑efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Shape the roadmap for the Product Metrics team and deliver new features.
• Design, build, operate, and maintain petabyte‑scale, fault‑tolerant systems.
• Own performance, reliability, availability and cost‑efficiency of the platform.
• Mentor team members, participate in design discussions and collaborate across engineering.
• Participate in on‑call rotation and take ownership of services you run.

Required skills

• Golang programming.
• Experience with major cloud providers (AWS, GCP or Azure).
• Working knowledge of ClickHouse for large‑scale data storage.
• Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, and Terraform for infrastructure management.
• Temporal workflow engine.
• Kafka streaming (bonus).
