Senior Paid Search (SEA) Consultant

About the role

DEPT® is looking for a Senior Paid Search (SEA) Consultant to join its Creative & Media team in Amsterdam/Rotterdam. You will own the full paid‑search lifecycle for international brands, turning business goals into data‑driven growth strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business objectives into a Paid Search roadmap and drive execution.
• Identify client challenges and growth opportunities, guiding the team toward solutions.
• Leverage automation, AI and data insights to optimise campaign performance.
• Stay up‑to‑date with search engine changes and adapt strategies accordingly.
• Champion innovative approaches and performance methodologies within the Paid Search team.
• Deliver compelling presentations and communicate complex concepts in sales meetings and client workshops.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless campaign execution.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all SEA‑related client matters.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience creating, managing and optimising paid search & shopping campaigns, preferably in an agency environment.
• Proven track record of delivering results and meeting client objectives.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data for optimisation.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for client and internal stakeholders.
• Self‑confident, empathetic and able to influence colleagues and clients.
• Full professional proficiency in English; Dutch is a plus.
