SEO Outreach & Partnership Specialist

About the role

Canva is looking for an SEO Outreach & Partnership Specialist to drive high‑quality backlink acquisition for its Dutch and Belgian audiences. Working in a hybrid setting from our Amsterdam hub, you will blend proven link‑building tactics with experimental approaches to boost organic visibility and support the company’s market‑penetration goals.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Netherlands SEO Lead and Global Outreach Lead to define priority landing pages and backlink targets.
• Research and compile prospect lists using guest‑posting, resource‑page insertions, and broken‑link strategies.
• Analyze competitor backlink profiles to uncover replicable opportunities.
• Prioritize prospects based on relevance, authority, and success likelihood.
• Craft personalized, culturally‑fluent outreach emails and negotiate partnership placements.
• Track and report measurable authority growth and its impact on rankings.

Required profile

• Proactive mindset with the ability to spot opportunities and propose optimisations.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate backlink data and competitor insights.
• Excellent written communication in English and Dutch, with cultural awareness for the Benelux market.
• Ability to work autonomously while aligning with country‑specific SEO priorities.

Required skills

• Experience with link‑building techniques such as guest posting, resource page insertion, and broken‑link outreach.
• Familiarity with SEO tools and competitor backlink analysis.
