Site Manager – Renewable Heat Projects (Spain)

About the role

Suncom Energy is looking for a Site Manager to lead the on‑site execution of renewable heat projects across Spain. You will be responsible for the full project lifecycle – from pre‑installation preparations through installation, commissioning, SAT and handover – ensuring safety, quality and schedule compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop installation and commissioning plans together with the project team.
• Verify site readiness, including access, logistics, power, water and safety fencing.
• Attend Factory Acceptance Testing with suppliers, the Supply Chain Manager and engineering team.
• Coordinate and manage all on‑site activities during installation and commissioning, involving customers, internal teams and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with technical documentation, quality standards and safety protocols.
• Oversee SAT procedures and handover to the service team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of site management experience, preferably in renewable energy or industrial heating projects in Spain.
• Fluent in Spanish and English with strong stakeholder communication skills.
• Proven ability to plan, coordinate and make decisions on complex on‑site operations.

Required skills

• Interpretation of piping, civil and electrical drawings.
• Familiarity with I&C manuals and SAT documentation.
• Knowledge of SAT procedures and on‑site safety protocols.
