Senior Modern Workplace Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Modern Workplace Engineer at Aceve, you will make IT services invisible in the best way—delivering reliable, secure and user‑focused support across multiple locations. You will combine hands‑on technical assistance with service improvement, endpoint management and identity‑related work, always aiming for a cloud‑first, security‑first and automation‑first approach.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first and second line support for laptops, mobile devices, Microsoft 365, collaboration tools, printers, network access and conference room equipment.
• Manage incidents and service requests through the ITSM system, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution.
• Support onboarding, changes and off‑boarding, including account creation, access changes and device preparation.
• Administer Microsoft 365 suite, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra ID and Intune, and deploy endpoints using standardized builds and zero‑touch deployment.
• Implement security and compliance controls such as access control, device compliance, patching and conditional access.
• Identify and remove root causes of recurring issues, improve service‑desk processes and documentation, and contribute to automation initiatives.
• Act as a calm point of contact for users across different countries and business units, assisting with workplace integration for new locations or acquisitions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in IT support, service desk or workplace engineering.

Required skills

• Microsoft 365 administration (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Entra ID (Azure AD) and Intune management.
• Endpoint deployment using standardized builds and zero‑touch methods.
• ITSM system usage for incident and request handling.
• Support of laptops, mobile devices, printers, network access and conference room equipment.
• Security and compliance implementation (access control, device compliance, patching, conditional access).
