AI Architect

About the role

Metyis is seeking an AI Architect to join its Data & Analytics team in Amsterdam. You will work at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, data engineering, and applied AI, helping to shape large‑scale enterprise AI and data transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure technical foundations for AI solutions.
• Collaborate with data, IT, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective architectures.
• Support the development of AI applications, data pipelines, and cloud‑based solutions following best practices.
• Produce technical specifications, documentation, and assist with testing and acceptance activities.
• Integrate, deploy, and scale AI systems across relevant technology environments.
• Monitor performance, reliability, and cost of AI infrastructure, identifying and resolving issues.
• Participate in technical discussions, project governance, and communicate progress and risks.
• Continuously learn emerging AI, cloud, data, and infrastructure technologies and share insights with the team.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of professional experience in AI, cloud, or data engineering roles.
• Proven ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on reliability, security, and cost efficiency.
