AI Engineer – Foundational Models with Multi‑Modality (Analog IC Design)

About the role

Join NXP's Design Enablement global team as an AI Engineer focused on foundational models for analog IC design. You will work at the intersection of semiconductor design, software engineering, and generative AI, collaborating with international teams to advance NXP's design methodology.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑develop best‑in‑class methodologies and tools with the NXP IP team for worldwide design centers.
• Integrate generative AI technologies into analog IC design workflows.
• Enhance the internal chatbot platform (Streamlit + AWS Bedrock) to understand analog IC terminology, abbreviations, and synonyms.
• Build and maintain a domain‑specific knowledge base for semantic understanding of analog IC concepts.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to embed AI tools into existing design environments and ensure smooth deployment pipelines.

Required profile

• MS/MSc in Electrical Engineering with strong software expertise.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience.
• Hands‑on experience with Graph Neural Networks and open‑source multi‑modal foundational models.
• Familiarity with analog IC design concepts or a strong affinity for analog design.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
