Associate Director – Legal

About the role

SRS Acquiom is seeking an Associate Director – Legal to lead the review and analysis of contractual obligations across its M&A and loan agency transactions. The role provides legal counsel to internal teams and external parties, ensuring compliance and supporting deal execution.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee adherence to contractual requirements and deadlines for M&A transactions.
• Support stakeholders during issue escalation and post‑closing transfers of interest.
• Conduct legal reviews of transactional agreements, probate, and organizational records.
• Participate in quality‑assurance reviews of compliance analyses related to post‑closing fund flows.
• Assist with KYC inquiries, invoice payments, and shareholder communications.
• Support the Imports team with discrepancy resolution as needed.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize engagement documentation for shareholder representation, escrow, and payments.
• Review deal agreements for marketing disclosure provisions and manage special projects assigned by management.

Required profile

• LL.M from a reputable European university or a university degree plus a postgraduate legal qualification.
• 6–8 years of relevant experience as a lawyer, preferably in M&A, securities, corporate, or transactional law.
• Proven ability to provide legal advice and counsel to internal and external stakeholders.
