Business Data Analyst

About the role

AFS Energy, a fast‑growing renewable‑energy scale‑up based in Amsterdam, is looking for a Business Data Analyst to integrate data from multiple sources (CRM, finance, risk and trading systems) and enable data‑driven decision making across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI and CRM.
• Periodically report on team and company financial performance.
• Support the forecasting and budgeting process with reliable data.
• Define, measure and monitor key performance indicators.
• Handle ad‑hoc data requests from stakeholders.
• Contribute to CRM (Zoho) improvements and enhancements.
• Map data flows and support the development of new features and databases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong English communication skills and ability to work in cross‑functional teams.
• Proactive, independent and entrepreneurial mindset.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data modelling).
• Hands‑on experience with Power BI or a similar BI tool.
• Experience with CRM platforms, preferably Zoho CRM.
• Ability to translate complex business questions into actionable insights.
