Internal Communications & Engagement Internship

About the role

The Internal Communications & Engagement internship supports Heineken’s Global Sustainable Production team in bringing sustainability stories to life across the company. You will help create and manage digital content, maintain internal platforms and support communication for key sustainability programs.

Key responsibilities

• Support internal communications, employee engagement and change‑management initiatives.
• Maintain and update digital channels such as Workvivo and SharePoint, ensuring timely and well‑structured content.
• Create people‑focused digital assets – visuals, short videos and storytelling pieces – that showcase Sustainable Production’s impact.
• Assist in preparing communication materials for presentations, reports and webinars, aligned with Heineken’s visual identity.
• Collaborate with Global Sustainable Production colleagues to ensure consistency and quality of outputs.
• Propose improvements to SharePoint structure, navigation and content experience.
• Plan and publish engaging content on Workvivo to sustain a regular communication rhythm.
• Support the “Race to Reduce” program communications, including storytelling and winner‑story formats.

Required profile

• Creative and proactive mindset with a passion for sustainability.
• Strong storytelling ability and interest in digital content creation.
• Student or recent graduate in Communications, Marketing, Sustainability or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Experience with SharePoint.
• Familiarity with Workvivo or similar internal communication platforms.
• Basic digital content creation tools (e.g., graphic design, video editing).
