Part‑time Cost Controlling Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our dynamic cost‑controlling team on a part‑time basis. You will support the finance operations of Santander Consumer Finance in the Netherlands, helping to keep reporting accurate and efficient.

Key responsibilities

• Support monthly and quarterly reporting to local management and headquarters.
• Assist in forecasting and budgeting processes for operating expenses.
• Improve data quality of financial reports.
• Optimize the reporting process for efficiency.
• Respond to ad‑hoc requests from the business and management.

Required profile

• Highly motivated and eager to learn.
• Analytical, precise and logical thinking.
• Proactive with the ability to take initiative.
• Strong interest in finance, with a study background in finance, economics, accounting, business administration or a related field.
• Good academic record in financial and quantitative subjects.
• Strong quantitative skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of accounting is a plus.
• Fluency in English.
