Project Management Principal

About the role

Metyis is seeking a Project Management Principal to lead complex programmes and portfolios within its Data & Analytics team. This senior role involves steering multi‑disciplinary projects, aligning business priorities with technology initiatives, and delivering strategic outcomes for high‑profile clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multiple projects, workstreams, and teams to achieve strategic business goals.
• Define delivery strategies, governance frameworks, execution roadmaps, and operating models.
• Ensure alignment between product roadmaps, technology initiatives, and delivery plans across programmes.
• Balance scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks, and benefits realization throughout the portfolio.
• Monitor performance using KPIs, executive reporting, and financial oversight.
• Build trusted relationships with executive sponsors and senior stakeholders.
• Facilitate steering committees, governance forums, portfolio reviews, and strategic workshops.
• Provide strategic advice on prioritisation, investment decisions, and transformation governance.
• Manage executive risks, escalations, dependencies, and cross‑functional decision‑making.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in project or programme management, preferably in data‑driven environments.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver large‑scale initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience interacting with C‑level executives.
• Excellent communication and governance facilitation capabilities.
