Senior Legal and Compliance Officer – Europe

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Legal and Compliance Officer to join Panasonic Europe’s Compliance team. Reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer in Brussels, you will work across the EMEA region, supporting all Panasonic units on legal and compliance matters.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor legal developments in the EU and assess their impact on compliance, especially regarding sustainability, AI, cybersecurity and other emerging regulations.
• Design and define policies, processes, contractual templates and guidance to ensure compliance with sustainability and digital laws.
• Provide advice and input to Panasonic entities on new legislation and related risks.
• Guide local entities on legal assessments and responses to inquiries from customers, suppliers, NGOs and authorities.
• Deliver communication and training on relevant compliance topics within the organization.
• Support and conduct compliance investigations.

Required profile

• Fully qualified lawyer (m/f/d) in an EU jurisdiction or the UK.
• Solid experience in compliance matters, either in‑house or at a law firm.
