Business Development Manager – Northern Europe

About the role

Join Bureau Veritas as a Business Development Manager based in Rotterdam, driving commercial growth of consulting services across Northern Europe. You will work with regional Marine & Offshore sales teams and the central BV Solutions team to expand risk analysis, maritime decarbonisation and engineering advisory offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full sales cycle, from prospect identification to contract signature, building a qualified pipeline across Benelux, Germany and the Nordic countries.
• Achieve revenue and profitability targets while expanding market share in risk analysis, maritime decarbonisation and engineering advisory services.
• Co‑develop commercial proposals with technical teams, ensuring relevance and leading negotiations to contract award.
• Maintain accurate opportunity tracking in Salesforce and provide regular forecasts and performance reports to management.

Required profile

• Master’s degree and at least 5 years of business development or commercial sales experience, preferably in maritime, offshore or industrial sectors.
• Proven track record of winning new business and consistently meeting ambitious sales targets.
• Fluent in English and German, with willingness to travel regularly across Northern Europe.
