Chief Financial Officer

About the role

Fastned is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join its Management Board and help steer the company toward profitability while expanding its European fast‑charging network. The CFO will lead a finance organisation of more than 40 professionals and act as a key financial voice at the executive level.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Executive Board on long‑term financial strategy, investment evaluation, M&A and capital‑structure optimisation.
• Oversee all finance domains: Business & Finance Control, Accounting & Reporting, Funding & Investor Relations, Treasury, Sustainability, Tax, Risk & Audit.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial statements and regulatory reporting.
• Develop and mentor finance teams, fostering a culture that balances rapid growth with financial discipline.
• Manage relationships with investors, lenders and other funding partners.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior finance leadership within a scale‑up or fast‑growing environment.
• Strong track record of guiding companies through profitability milestones and large‑scale expansions.
• Ability to navigate complex financial structures and deliver strategic insight to the board.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with investors, regulators and internal stakeholders.
