Off-Cycle Analyst Intern – Amsterdam

About the role

As an intern you will work closely with the investment professionals of IK’s Benelux team, assisting with the appraisal of potential investment opportunities, execution of transactions in the Benelux region, and supporting current portfolio companies.

Key responsibilities

• Perform in‑depth market and industry research.
• Identify and analyse suitable investment opportunities.
• Conduct detailed analysis of financial and corporate information.
• Build operating models and perform valuation exercises.
• Participate in the execution of M&A transactions and financings.
• Support management teams of portfolio companies on strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Excellent academic focus in finance, economics, engineering or related fields.
• Prior internship experience in private equity, venture capital, investment banking, M&A advisory, strategic consulting or comparable.
• Fluency in Dutch and English.
• Financial literacy with an analytical mindset.
• High attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic and ability to multi‑task.
• Team‑player attitude.
