Commercial Solutions Engineer - EMEA

About the role

Dash0 is looking for a Commercial Solutions Engineer to act as a trusted technical advisor for its EMEA customers and prospects. Based in Amsterdam, you will bridge product capabilities with customer outcomes, delivering proofs of concept and guiding observability architecture discussions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and architect observability solutions using OpenTelemetry, Kubernetes, and cloud‑native technologies.
• Translate complex customer requirements into scalable, performant Dash0 implementations.
• Develop and execute Proofs of Concept that showcase Dash0’s technical differentiators.
• Deliver technical demos and presentations for engineering and executive audiences.
• Collaborate with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle to position Dash0 as the preferred solution.
• Provide architecture guidance and best practices for observability setup, telemetry data modeling, and OpenTelemetry collector design.
• Create and maintain reusable demo environments, reference architectures, and POC templates.
• Partner with Product Management to relay technical insights influencing roadmap and feature priorities.

Required profile

• Deep technical knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, observability pipelines, and distributed tracing.
• Hands‑on experience with instrumentation, telemetry data ingestion, and performance optimization.
• Strong understanding of modern DevOps, SRE, and platform engineering practices.
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex observability concepts to engineers and decision‑makers.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across Sales, Product, and Engineering teams.
