Junior E&A Engineer – Automation & MES

About the role

As a Junior E&A Engineer you will troubleshoot and improve existing Automation and MES applications, support daily automation topics on the production line, and contribute to improvement projects.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and improve existing Automation and MES applications.
• Support daily automation topics on the production line, including HMI, PLC and MES.
• Support root cause analyses for MES and automation issues.
• Identify improvement opportunities on the production line under your responsibility.
• Support improvement projects related to MES and Automation.
• Maintain and improve Automation and MES documentation.

Required profile

• Desire to develop as an Automation and MES Engineer within Nestlé.
• Enjoy working with colleagues from Production, Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Technology and other departments.
• Understand the importance of quality standards and procedures in a production environment.

Required skills

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, industrial automation or a related field.
• Knowledge of PLC controls and an affinity with network components and MES.
• Familiarity with Wonderware and Rockwell PLCs (advantage).
• Initial experience through an internship, traineeship or engineering role in machine or equipment construction (advantage).
