Sales & Event Manager

About the role

GBU B.V. is looking for a dynamic Sales & Event Manager to lead both B2B and B2C event sales across its hospitality portfolio. You will manage client inquiries, acquire new business, and nurture existing accounts while collaborating closely with creative and operational teams.

Key responsibilities

• Proactive and reactive sales activities.
• Identify and pursue opportunities in the events market.
• Conduct client site visits and prepare budgets.
• Draft quotations, contracts, and production briefs.
• Serve as the main point of contact from pre‑event planning through post‑event follow‑up.
• Handle invoicing and after‑sales support.
• Report performance and results to management.

Required profile

• Go‑getter eager to help build GBU’s future.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar sales or events role.
• Proactive attitude with strong personal input.
• Established network in Greater Amsterdam.
• Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends when needed.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
• Experience with a MICE reservation system is a plus.
