Senior Consultant Digital Accounting, Reporting and AI Transformation

About the role

Join PwC's Digital Transformation team within Broader Assurance Services to help organisations modernise their finance and reporting functions. You will work at the intersection of accounting, regulatory reporting, deals and emerging technologies, supporting clients through complex transformations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, reviewing and validating XBRL reporting packages, including ESEF and SBR.
• Support implementation of disclosure management platforms such as Workiva and other digital reporting solutions.
• Design and optimise digital financial and non‑financial reporting processes, improving data flows, governance and controls.
• Contribute to finance and reporting transformation projects linked to regulatory change, system implementations, IPOs, carve‑outs, mergers and acquisitions.
• Identify and prototype automation, analytics and Generative AI opportunities to enhance reporting efficiency and quality.

Required profile

• Completed or near‑completed Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Economics, Data & Business, Information Management or a related discipline.
• Strong interest in accounting and reporting combined with curiosity about systems, data, workflows and digital tools.
• Ability to solve complex problems, work collaboratively and translate business challenges into practical technology‑enabled solutions.
