Software Product Owner – Infra (Network & Hosting)

About the role

Thales Nederland is seeking an experienced Software Product Owner to lead the Network & Hosting squad within its INFRA domain. Based in Hengelo, you will shape the roadmap for the infrastructure platform that supports a wide range of business‑critical applications across the aerospace, defense and security sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather use cases, define functional requirements and translate them into a clear product backlog.
• Prioritise features balancing availability, security, lifecycle, customer project needs and innovation.
• Maintain and improve the network and hosting solutions, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
• Coordinate with IS/IT teams, suppliers and the Product Manager to manage dependencies, order hardware/software and keep projects on schedule and budget.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and create synergy across multiple projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or Service Owner in a large, complex organisation.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Strong stakeholder‑management skills and the ability to communicate at all organisational levels.
• Commitment to transparency, predictability and delivering value.

Required skills

• General knowledge of IT Infrastructure, specifically network and hosting environments.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum practices (Professional Scrum Product Owner certification is a plus).
