Working Student – Audit & Accountancy (Amsterdam)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated working student to join our Assurance team in Amsterdam. You will support real audit engagements, applying your academic knowledge while receiving on‑the‑job coaching and exposure to a variety of clients and sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the audit team with procedures on financial statement items.
• Document findings and discuss results with clients under supervision.
• Test the effectiveness of internal controls.
• Perform quality checks together with team members to finalise audit files.
• Contribute to client discussions about identified issues.

Required profile

• Clear communication, accuracy and service‑orientation.
• Enrolled in the third year of a bachelor’s programme (e.g., Economics, Business Administration) or pursuing an MSc in Accountancy.
• Basic understanding of audit processes and financial statements.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
• Available 3–6 months, at least three days per week, starting September, November or February.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and common Office tools.
