Account Executive – Mid-Market Sales (Nordics/CEE)

About the role

As an Account Executive on Datadog’s Mid-Market Sales team, you will drive growth by acquiring net‑new customers across mid‑to‑large organisations in the Nordics and Central‑Eastern Europe region. You will work with internal stakeholders, understand unique customer needs, and articulate the value of Datadog’s observability platform.

Key responsibilities

• Focus entirely on net‑new logo acquisition.
• Convert inbound leads into closed opportunities.
• Leverage tools such as Sales Navigator and DiscoverOrg for prospecting.
• Strategically engage CTOs, Engineering/IT leaders, and technical end users (SRE, DevOps, DevSecOps).
• Multi‑thread across departments within complex organisations.
• Collaborate with Sales Development Representatives to drive top‑of‑funnel activity.
• Manage the full sales cycle, including negotiations and on‑site technical demonstrations.

Required profile

• Proven experience hunting and closing net‑new logos.
• Nordics language skills and/or regional sales experience preferred.
• Specific regional experience is required.
• Ability to map and break into large‑scale organisations.
• Curious, motivated, and driven sales mindset.
• Bold on the phone and creative in email outreach.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time, including up to 6 hours of travel per day.
