Actuarial Services Manager / Senior Manager

About the role

Oliver Wyman is expanding its Actuarial Services offering in the Netherlands. As an Actuarial Manager/Senior Manager you will lead a talented team and work on complex insurance and pension projects for clients in the Netherlands and abroad.

Key responsibilities

• Build and develop the Actuarial Services practice in the Netherlands, taking a leading role.
• Lead, mentor and educate highly talented colleagues.
• Deliver a variety of strategic, quantitative, risk‑management, data‑science and actuarial projects for insurance and pension clients.
• Manage relationships with multiple stakeholders and present findings to senior clients.

Required profile

• 6+ years of actuarial experience with strong exposure to the Dutch market.
• Hands‑on mentality focused on delivering client value.
• Deep understanding of insurance business, IFRS 17 and Solvency II.
• Fluent in English; Dutch fluency is a strong asset.

• Statistical software: SAS, R.
• Programming languages: C#, C++, Java, VBA.
