AI-Powered Digital Daily Management Internship

About the role

You will join the Incoming Inspection Team at Philips’ Best factory to support the digital transformation of Quality Operations. The internship focuses on building a live digital daily management system that gives real‑time visibility of performance, workload, capacity and quality risks. You will work with data from SAP, SharePoint and reporting tools to create Power BI dashboards and explore AI‑driven insights.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse operational data sources such as SAP, SharePoint and quality reporting systems.
• Define and track business KPIs, including leading and lagging quality and capacity indicators.
• Design and develop integrated Power BI dashboards for operational and management reporting.
• Create automated data flows to reduce manual KPI reporting effort.
• Explore AI‑assisted capabilities for trend monitoring, anomaly detection and operational insights.
• Visualise performance trends, workload distribution and process bottlenecks.
• Present findings and recommendations to quality and operational leadership.

Required profile

• Student pursuing a Bachelor or Master in Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Business IT, Applied AI or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Affinity with Power BI, AI, data analytics and process improvement.
• Ability to convert data into actionable business insights.
• Works independently in a structured manner.
• Effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Fluent in English.

What we offer

• Monthly full‑time allowance of €500‑€700 gross (pro‑rated for part‑time).
• Housing compensation up to €300 net per month (or €255 net for other Philips locations).
