About the role

Reson8 is building accurate, customizable speech‑to‑text technology for 24+ European languages. As an AI Researcher you will drive the research and development of proprietary models, owning the full loop from experiment design to production deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Train, fine‑tune and improve speech‑to‑text models across multiple European languages and domain‑specific vocabularies.
• Build and maintain a reproducible experimentation platform for systematic training, tracking and rapid iteration.
• Design and run experiments on model architectures, training recipes, data mixes and domain adaptation strategies.
• Collaborate directly with the founders and take ownership of the model roadmap.
• Run inference on Reson8’s GPU cluster in NL datacenters, handling the full experiment‑to‑deployment pipeline.
• Evaluate emerging architectures and tooling (NeMo, vLLM, TensorRT) and integrate successful approaches.

Required profile

• Strong background in machine learning with hands‑on experience training deep learning models, preferably in speech, NLP or sequence‑to‑sequence domains.
• Proficiency in Python and PyTorch, with experience beyond notebook‑level fine‑tuning.
• Experience building experimentation infrastructure such as experiment tracking, reproducible pipelines or evaluation frameworks.
• Comfort reading research papers and turning ideas into production code.
