AI Solutions Engineering Analyst

About the role

Adaptfy, a joint venture between SHV and Metyis, is looking for an AI Solutions Engineering Analyst to join its Data & Analytics team in Amsterdam. You will work on cutting‑edge AI projects, helping to design, test, and deploy AI‑driven solutions that add tangible value across SHV’s diverse business units.

Key responsibilities

• Support the full AI solution lifecycle, from prototyping to production deployment.
• Collaborate with central and local data teams to build and maintain data foundations, knowledge bases, and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.
• Implement and test prompts, context‑management strategies, and other techniques to improve AI application performance.
• Translate business requirements into practical AI use cases and workflows together with senior team members.
• Research, experiment, and evaluate emerging AI models and tools.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in AI or data‑analytics engineering.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work across technical and business domains.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude.

Required skills

• Familiarity with AI concepts such as large language models (LLMs) and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation.
• Experience with data preparation, knowledge‑base creation, and AI model testing.
