AM Business Process Expert – Implementation

About the role

The Business Implementation Management (BIM) team at APM Terminals seeks an AM Business Process Expert to lead the rollout of standardized Asset Management processes across new and transforming terminals worldwide. Working remotely, you will ensure operational readiness, process compliance, and successful adoption of Asset Management standards and systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead implementation of standard Asset Management business processes at new and transforming terminals.
• Onboard and train local Asset Management teams and key users on IFS CMMS‑supported processes.
• Act as subject‑matter expert during pre‑ and post‑go‑live phases, driving governance, standardisation and continuous improvement of SOPs, work instructions and asset data.
• Review process performance, support audits, monitor compliance and close process‑related findings.
• Partner with global and regional stakeholders to manage change initiatives and support business transformation.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in an operational Asset Management environment, preferably in an asset‑intensive industry.
• Strong understanding of maintenance business processes (L3‑L5) and CMMS‑enabled operations.
• Experience supporting transformation programmes, project implementations or business process deployments.
• Ability to influence stakeholders, manage change and navigate resistance constructively.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 50%.

Required skills

• Practical knowledge of IFS CMMS.
• Experience with inventory management and work order management processes.
• Familiarity with asset lifecycle management principles; ISO 55000 knowledge is a plus.
• Strong communication, facilitation, presentation and training skills in English.
