Analog Electronics Design Engineer – High Voltage (m/f/d)

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking an experienced Analog Electronics Design Engineer to join its High‑Voltage group in Nijmegen. You will work on cutting‑edge wafer‑test systems that enable next‑generation semiconductor devices.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end missions covering modeling, simulation, laboratory testing, system debugging and integration.
• Collaborate closely with Electronics, Mechanics, Software, Firmware and Physics teams.
• Develop modules that become part of advanced wafer‑test equipment for the semiconductor industry.
• Maintain deep understanding of system architecture and operating principles.

Required profile

• B.Sc., M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a focus on analog, power or high‑voltage circuits.
• Proven experience designing precision, low‑noise analog, power or high‑voltage circuits.
• Hands‑on experience with ORCAD and SPICE‑based circuit simulation.
• Familiarity with electromagnetic field simulation tools such as CST (advantage).
• Ability to write and review specifications, test documents and verification reports.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
