Android Security Engineer – Kotlin & SDK Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an Android Security Engineer to build and maintain a mobile SDK that runs inside banking applications. The SDK silently detects fraud, malware, overlays, tampering, rooted devices and abnormal runtime behaviour, providing critical security without impacting the user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and ship a lightweight, stable, and backward‑compatible Android SDK for banking clients.
• Handle complex threading, lifecycle edge cases and performance constraints.
• Define long‑term Android architecture decisions that matter for security and reliability.
• Collaborate with a small senior team to solve SDK architecture challenges.
• Ensure the SDK remains invisible to end users while delivering robust security features.

Required profile

• Passionate about Android beyond building standard apps.
• Enjoy working in environments you do not control and delivering high‑quality code.
• Comfortable with deep Android internals and security concepts.
