Clinical Development Scientist

About the role

The Clinical Development Scientist owns and drives the end‑to‑end clinical evidence strategy, linking clinical need, value, target product profile, claims and regulatory acceptance. The role leads cross‑functional teams to design, execute and manage clinical studies, ensuring data integrity, audit readiness and alignment with post‑market requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive end‑to‑end clinical evidence strategy, linking clinical need, value, TPP, claims, endpoints and regulatory acceptance.
• Lead clinical development in cross‑functional teams, overseeing study design, protocol development and execution.
• Manage site and KOL engagement, ensuring compliant execution and protocol adherence.
• Define and oversee data strategy, ensuring data quality, integrity and traceability.
• Operationalize real‑world data, conduct CER and PMCF analytics to generate continuous clinical evidence.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MD, physician) or advanced degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Epidemiology, Health Informatics or related quantitative field.
• Experience in clinical development, clinical research and medical writing (CER, CSR, PMCF).
• Background in diagnostic radiology/ultrasound imaging and AI‑based medical device development.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance, process improvement and project management.
