Cloud Engineer – Tech Lead (Remote, Netherlands)

About the role

Luscii is modernising the cloud platform behind OMRON Connect, a healthcare service used by millions worldwide. As a Senior Cloud Engineer you will guide technical decisions, shape the cloud roadmap and help transition legacy infrastructure to a cloud‑native, event‑driven architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve the Cloud & Backend roadmap, translating vision into clear priorities and trade‑offs.
• Drive cross‑team architecture decisions, ensuring transparency, documentation and follow‑through.
• Establish shared technical standards and guardrails that enable autonomous team delivery.
• Work hands‑on with AWS and Terraform, reviewing designs, pull requests and challenging technical choices.
• Coach engineers, spread knowledge and foster ownership across teams.
• Collaborate with product owners, QA, engineering leadership and Japanese colleagues to balance technical direction with regulatory, security and cost considerations.

Required profile

• At least 6 years of cloud/backend engineering experience, including 2 years in a technical leadership role.
• Proven ability to influence without formal authority and to align multiple teams around technical direction.
• Comfortable working independently while actively contributing to shared goals.
• Fluent in English and open to a Holacratic organisational model.
