Demonstration Operations Specialist (Fixed-Wing UAV)

About the role

Destinus is looking for a Demonstration Operations Specialist to act as the face of the company in the field, delivering professional UAV demonstrations for military customers, government stakeholders and strategic partners across several countries. The role works closely with engineering and flight operations teams so that every aircraft, system and mission is tested, mission-ready and executed to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support UAV demonstrations, deployments and operational showcases across multiple countries
• Operate fixed-wing UAV systems during customer demonstrations, test flights and field operations
• Keep aircraft, payloads, ground control stations and support equipment fully tested and mission-ready
• Support flight preparation: mission planning, airspace coordination, weather assessment, system validation and risk analysis
• Perform launch, flight and recovery in manual, assisted and autonomous modes
• Operate ground control stations, telemetry, datalinks and mission communication systems
• Support EO/IR and surveillance payload operations
• Carry out troubleshooting, field maintenance and technical support during deployments
• Work with engineering and flight test teams on aircraft validation and performance improvement
• Maintain flight logs, operational reports, maintenance records and technical documentation
• Ensure compliance with flight safety standards and UAV regulations during VLOS and BVLOS operations
• Take part in advanced UAV training in Ukraine and support campaigns across international locations

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience operating fixed-wing UAV systems in military, aerospace, defense or flight test environments
• Military background required, preferably in aviation, reconnaissance, UAV operations, artillery, intelligence, special operations or similar
• Valid UAV certifications A1, A2, A3 and Specific
• Fluency in English; another language is a plus
• Security screening and a Certificate of Conduct (VOG) are part of the application process
