Director – Data Analytics Financial Services Consulting

About the role

PwC is seeking a visionary Director to lead Data and AI transformation initiatives for its Financial Services Consulting practice in Amsterdam. The role will help banks, insurers and asset managers harness data and generative AI to modernise operations, drive innovation and create sustainable value.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of GenAI and advanced analytics solutions for financial services clients.
• Define fit‑for‑purpose data architectures, manage data flows, assess data quality and establish robust data‑governance frameworks.
• Build the capabilities required to scale AI across client organisations, working closely with near‑shore and offshore delivery centres in Central‑Eastern Europe and Egypt.
• Drive commercial growth by acquiring new projects, cultivating C‑level relationships and managing the full sales cycle.
• Deliver large‑scale, human‑centred transformation programmes, guiding multidisciplinary teams of PwC consultants, client staff and external vendors.
• Act as a strategic sparring partner for senior stakeholders, translating business ambitions into scalable data and AI solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading data and AI transformation programmes within the financial services sector.
• Strong track record of business development and managing C‑level client relationships.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to steer international, multidisciplinary teams.
