About the role
The Director of Architectural Product Development leads the creation and market launch of new architectural products, systems, and related marketing and compliance materials. This role blends design, engineering, finance, manufacturing, and strategic thinking to deliver innovative, sustainable solutions that meet EN standards.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop new architectural products and systems, preparing them for mass production or customization.
- Create marketing and compliance collateral required for market entry.
- Oversee hands‑on prototyping, including CNC fabrication, 3‑D printing, and basic electrical integration.
Required profile
- Portfolio demonstrating successful product development and market launch.
- 3‑10 years of experience in physical product development or architecture.
- Ability to work onsite 40 hours/week in Amsterdam and communicate with precision.
