E-Business Specialist (EDI & Digital Integration)

About the role

Wavin Orbia's Building & Infrastructure business is looking for an E-Business Specialist in Hardenberg to manage and improve EDI and e-commerce solutions and to support digital integration between customers, suppliers and internal systems. The role contributes to the digital agenda for Western Europe and works closely with Customer Service, Sales, Supply Chain, IT and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and improve EDI and e-commerce solutions, and support digital integrations between customers, suppliers and internal systems.
• Drive process optimization and automation initiatives, and coordinate new customer and supplier digital connections.
• Support system upgrades, implementations and continuous improvements, and ensure data quality, process compliance and system reliability.
• Support users of e-business applications and digital tools, and take part in local and international digital projects such as e-invoicing and order management.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Sales, Supply Chain, IT and external partners, and help shape the digital agenda for Western Europe.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (HBO level), preferably in Business, IT, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Experience with EDI environments, digital business processes or e-commerce platforms, and with managing or supporting complex digital projects.
• Fluent communication in Dutch and English.
• Ability to work with stakeholders across functions and countries, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Required skills

• Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
