Electrical Maintenance Worker – Terneuzen

About the role

Calcit is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Worker to join its team in Terneuzen. The position is responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of production equipment in an industrial environment, requiring accurate and independent work.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance on production machinery.
• Diagnose electrical faults, replace components and verify repairs.
• Work in three rotating shifts and be available for scheduled weekend on‑call duty.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and relevant certifications.

Required profile

• Level IV qualification in electrical engineering.
• Proven experience in electrical maintenance within an industrial setting.
• Valid NEN 3140, BHV and forklift certifications.
• Basic knowledge of English and the ability to work accurately and independently.

Required skills

• Reading and interpreting electrical diagrams, P&ID schematics and loop drawings.
• Working with Variable Frequency Drives and industrial instrumentation.
• Basic knowledge of Siemens PLC systems.
• Forklift operation and general electrical troubleshooting.
