Experienced Accountant – Financial Services

About the role

We are looking for an Experienced Accountant to join our Financial Services audit team at PwC. The role offers a blend of client‑facing responsibilities and professional development, including four days of audit work and one day of study each week. You will work in an international environment supporting a variety of financial sector clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of financial statement audits for financial services clients.
• Assess and test clients’ internal control systems.
• Supervise and coach junior team members, reviewing their work and providing feedback.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional experts such as IT, actuarial and valuation specialists.
• Maintain regular communication with clients as the primary point of contact.

Required profile

• University degree (Business Economics preferred) and enrollment in the Registered Accountant (RA) programme.
• Minimum two years of audit experience, preferably in the financial sector.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong project‑management and planning abilities.
• Effective communication, teamwork and a driven, ambitious attitude.
