Framing Manager

About the role

Avant Arte is seeking a Framing Manager to lead its fine‑art framing operation in Amsterdam. You will be responsible for overseeing the end‑to‑end process from order intake through quality control while driving efficiency and maintaining the highest standards for collectors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full framing workflow, set standards, and continuously improve techniques.
• Frame fine‑art prints (approximately 50 % of time) and optimise throughput to meet output KPIs.
• Control inventory of materials, source new vendors, and maintain quality control measures.
• Lead, train and supervise a team of five framers, track project costs and implement health‑and‑safety protocols.

Required profile

• 5+ years running a fine‑art framing operation at scale.
• 3‑5+ years managing a team of framers.
• Experience setting up framing processes and sourcing materials.
