Freelance Art Director

About the role

We are seeking a Freelance Art Director to lead the creation of high‑impact, social‑first campaigns for a variety of brands. This fully remote role blends strategic thinking with hands‑on design across digital, video, print and experiential formats, and encourages the use of AI‑powered tools to accelerate creative workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualise and design performance‑driven creative assets for social media, digital ads, video, email, landing pages and other marketing channels.
• Adapt and produce assets for print, out‑of‑home, broadcast and other multimedia formats as required.
• Collaborate closely with Account Management and Project Management to align work with client objectives, timelines and deliverables.
• Contribute innovative ideas that strengthen brand storytelling and audience engagement.
• Integrate AI‑enabled creative tools into brainstorming, design exploration and production where they add value.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail while juggling multiple projects in a deadline‑driven environment.

Required profile

• 1‑2+ years of experience in an agency or fast‑paced creative environment.
• Strong portfolio showcasing social‑first, performance‑focused campaigns across multiple platforms.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts clearly.
• Highly organised, able to manage several projects, revisions and deadlines without compromising quality.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Figma.
• Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
• Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (optional but preferred).
