Governance & Business Resilience Specialist

About the role

Zurich Insurance Benelux is looking for a Governance & Business Resilience Specialist to strengthen operational resilience across the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. This full‑time hybrid position will own the Business Continuity Management framework, ensure robust governance, and manage third‑party data‑flow risks.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, improve and periodically update the Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework for the BeNe organization.
• Drive Business Impact Analyses, continuity plans, crisis management processes and recovery exercises.
• Monitor BCM compliance, track remediation actions and align with Group Resilience standards.
• Produce BCM reporting for senior management and regulators where applicable.
• Evaluate process changes for internal control impact, risk exposure and compliance.
• Implement new regulations and Group requirements locally.
• Manage internal control testing, self‑assessments and annual reviews in partnership with Risk, Audit, BISO and Operations.
• Support program effectiveness audits and ensure timely closure of findings.
• Identify, document and maintain third‑party data flows, classify processed data and map transfer routes.
• Guide service owners through third‑party criticality assessments and drive local app and cloud approval processes.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor’s or master’s degree with 3+ years of experience in business continuity, resilience, crisis management and governance frameworks.
• Strong analytical ability and a structured way of working.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in English and Dutch.
• Proven ability to translate complex regulations into practical local procedures.
