Group Product Manager - Commercial Risk & Platform Fraud

About the role

Adyen operates as a full‑stack payment processor and licensed global banking institution, handling billions of shopper interactions and millions of businesses worldwide. As we expand into banking, card issuing, and embedded financial products, we face higher financial risk profiles and are building advanced, data‑driven risk management capabilities. We are looking for a Group Product Manager to lead and develop a senior team of product managers within the Commercial Risk & Platform Fraud group.

Key responsibilities

• Drive Commercial Excellence by formulating and executing a strategic vision that turns risk mitigation into customer value, balancing pricing, revenue, and cost.
• Lead & develop senior talent, coaching a high‑performing team of product managers.
• Architect smart trade‑offs, defining clear use cases and deciding when to deploy AI/ML models versus operational support.
• Shape pragmatic regulatory strategy, partnering with Compliance, Regulatory, and Operations to design resilient, auditable capabilities.
• Lead through friction by aligning engineering, commercial, risk, and operations teams without direct authority, making objective trade‑offs.

Required profile

• Accelerated product leader with 8+ years of product management experience and a track record of launching complex products.
• People manager and coach who has hired, managed, and mentored product managers at various levels.
• Commercial GM mindset with strong analytical, metrics‑driven decision making and P&L ownership.
• Strong tech & AI/ML instincts, comfortable collaborating on machine‑learning and data‑science initiatives.
• Master of influence, able to communicate confidently across technical, commercial, and executive audiences.
