Healthcare Architect Consultant

About the role

In this role, you will shape the future of healthcare environments by translating patient, staff and operational needs into integrated spatial solutions. You will work as an experienced healthcare architect and design consultant on complex international projects, advising clients and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop differentiated design strategies and solutions across project scales, from treatment rooms to whole hospitals, for renovations and new builds.
• Create design concepts, floor plans, presentation drawings, 3D models, experience scenarios and visual narratives.
• Understand clinical workflows, architectural requirements, cultural context and standards, translating them into design decisions.
• Collaborate across disciplines to ensure functional, clinical, technical and client requirements are integrated.
• Communicate complex observations, recommendations and design ideas clearly to clients, stakeholders and project teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Spatial Design or related field.
• At least 10 years of professional experience in architecture or spatial design, including healthcare projects.
• Ability to work independently as a trusted consultant, structure complex information and provide evidence‑based recommendations.
• Willingness to travel internationally 2‑3 times per year, typically for about one week.
• Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp.
• Practical experience using AI‑enabled tools for research, ideation, visualization and efficient design development.

• Base salary range EUR 61,200 – EUR 101,900, with a 3 % short‑term incentive.
