IT Implementation Lead – BIM Rapid Deployment

About the role

The IT Implementation Lead will drive on‑site IT readiness and implementation for terminal ramp‑up, go‑live and stabilisation phases across APM Terminals worldwide. You will work from a home terminal while being deployable to BIM projects in Europe, Asia and the Middle East, supporting both daily operations and critical project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Lead on‑site IT readiness and implementation for new or transforming terminals, ensuring systems support operational execution from day one.
• Assess and communicate IT prerequisites and gaps, coordinating with local and global teams to close them.
• Support implementation of FLOW IT tools, TOS integrations and system configurations.
• Provide hands‑on technical coordination in high‑pressure environments, ensuring continuity of IT services and rapid issue resolution.
• Adjust and track IT implementation plans, timelines and dependencies to align with project milestones.
• Set up IT processes and governance, including incident management and escalation paths.
• Transfer capability to local teams through training, guidance and support on systems and tools.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT implementation, infrastructure or system deployment, preferably in industrial, logistics or terminal environments.
• Strong understanding of IT systems that support operations, including TOS, infrastructure, integrations and operational technology.
• Proven ability to manage project timelines, dependencies and cross‑functional inputs.
• Experience with IT support processes and service management frameworks such as ITIL.
• High mobility and willingness to travel internationally up to 40‑50% of the time.
• Fluent English; additional languages are an asset.
